Estimator – Bespoke Joinery Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a family‑run specialist joinery manufacturer in Morley, Leeds. You will own the full commercial lifecycle of bespoke woodworking projects, from the first enquiry through to variations and final account settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for bespoke joinery and wood‑work projects.
• Interpret client drawings, specifications and design information.
• Calculate material quantities, labour requirements and supplier costs.
• Price machine‑shop, bench‑joinery, finishing and polishing operations.
• Manage variations, additional works and maintain commercial project records.
• Prepare and agree final accounts at project completion.
• Liaise with clients, architects, designers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with production, project management and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Background in joinery, woodworking, furniture, shop‑fitting or fit‑out estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness of materials, labour, manufacturing methods and supplier pricing.
• Experience handling variations and final accounts.
• Confident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
