Estimator – Facades

About the role

The Estimator – Facades will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a wide range of external building finishes, including GRC, brick slips, terracotta, renders, aluminium and HPL cladding. You will work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure all tender information is captured and quotations are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender enquiries and understand project requirements.
• Liaise with clients to gather additional information.
• Contact suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Conduct site surveys when required.
• Produce formal quotations and maintain thorough documentation in the internal database.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Estimate projects ranging from £500k to £25m.

Required profile

• Proven estimating experience within the cladding, façade or building envelope sector.
• Strong understanding of rainscreen and curtain walling (highly advantageous).
• Familiarity with the Onscreen Takeoff software package.
• Outgoing personality and ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.

• Salary range £55,000 – £65,000 per year plus bonus.
