Estimator – Hard FM Services

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Estimator to join a leading facilities management provider in the South East. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost proposals for hard services across commercial and industrial sites, influencing the win‑rate of high‑value contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates and cost plans for mechanical, electrical and building‑fabric services.
• Analyse tender documents, specifications and drawings to identify risks, opportunities and value‑engineering options.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and commercial teams to produce competitive bids and renewals.
• Lead pricing strategy, ensuring margin protection and accuracy.
• Act as the commercial subject‑matter expert in client meetings, presentations and clarifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facilities management or building services estimating hard services.
• Strong ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings and asset lists.
• Commercially minded with meticulous attention to detail and proactive risk management.
• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines in a growth‑focused environment.
