ETF Product Strategy & Development Lead

About the role

The ETF Product Strategy & Development role will shape and deliver the ETF product strategy, driving initiatives from concept through to launch across a broad range of active ETFs. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful product roll‑out and ongoing management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the European UCITS ETF product strategy by analysing market trends, client demand and distribution insights.
• Prepare business cases and secure approvals for new product launches through governance committees and fund boards.
• Lead end‑to‑end execution of ETF launches, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Evaluate alternative product structures and ensure compliance with regulatory and risk frameworks.
• Design, document and implement operational processes to support new products.
• Manage and enhance the existing ETF product range in line with strategy, regulation and technology changes.
• Deliver internal and external training to support product knowledge and successful launches.

Required profile

• Experience in ETF product development, product structuring or a closely related role.
• Strong project‑management ability to handle multiple complex initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• In‑depth understanding of the UCITS ETF framework, regulatory environment and operational requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder‑management skills with the confidence to influence across teams.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and collaborative, thriving in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment.
