Evening Shift Panel Beater – £5,000 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

Evening shift panel beater position at Activate Accident Repair in Water Orton, Birmingham. The role works Monday‑Thursday, 12 pm‑11:30 pm and includes a £5,000 sign‑on bonus after successful probation.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all bodywork, including stripping and refitting trim and interior panels.
• Refit new and repaired panels and repair small dents on accident‑damaged vehicles.
• Restore panel damage to pre‑accident condition following approved repair methodology and manufacturer standards.
• Use specialist body repair equipment such as measuring tools, body jigs, welding equipment and SMART repair tools.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety standards before return or record any faults on the job card.

Required profile

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Good communication, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong health‑ and safety awareness.
• Effective time‑management skills.
• Relevant industry experience as a repair technician.
