Event Bar Operations Lead (Temporary/Casual)

About the role

We are looking for confident, practical and dependable individuals to support Boxbar at live events across the North West, Midlands and London. As an Event Bar Operations Lead you will manage Boxbar units and bar areas, handling set‑up, operation, customer interaction and basic troubleshooting. Full training is provided, so no prior experience with our technology is required.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and break down Boxbar units and bar areas at live events.
• Ensure units are clean, stocked and functioning to required standards.
• Train and support venue staff on using Boxbar technology.
• Provide basic technical troubleshooting and report any issues.
• Maintain a tidy, professional presentation throughout events.
• Assist with customer service and post‑event feedback collection.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable interacting with clients, venue teams and customers in busy event environments.
• Calm under pressure, practical and hands‑on.
• Willing to travel to event sites within your region.
• Interest in events, hospitality, sport, music or technology.
