Event Crew Driver & Games Operator

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our events team as an Event Crew Driver & Games Operator. The role combines driving a long‑wheelbase van with hands‑on set‑up and operation of games and equipment at a variety of venues across London.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a long wheelbase van to and from event locations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Load, unload and transport event equipment safely.
• Set up games, activities and other equipment on site, checking that everything is clean, presentable and safe.
• Interact professionally with clients, venue staff and guests, providing instructions and assistance.
• Operate games or assist guests during the event and maintain a tidy event area.
• Troubleshoot minor on‑site issues calmly and sensibly.
• Pack down equipment after the event and return it to base.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and well‑organised.
• Confident driver of a long wheelbase van.
• Physically capable of loading, unloading and setting up equipment.
• Friendly, polite and presentable with good customer‑facing communication.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and occasional early starts or late finishes.
• Able to work independently once trained.

Required skills

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience driving vans or confidence with a long wheelbase vehicle.
• Ability to safely lift and move event equipment.
• Good spoken English.
• Right to work in the UK.

What we offer

• Pay rate of £15–£16.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
