Event & Exhibition Manager

About the role

Join a historic, B Corp‑certified venue that hosts a diverse range of conferences, exhibitions, awards and fundraisers. As the Event & Exhibition Manager you will lead the delivery of multiple shows, ensuring they run smoothly and meet revenue targets while upholding the venue’s high standards for sustainability and visitor experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client, organiser and stakeholder relationships throughout the event lifecycle.
• Coordinate organiser arrangements and align them with other venue activities.
• Oversee revenue and budget management for each exhibition.
• Brief internal teams and liaise with external suppliers and services.
• Ensure compliance with venue policies and local authority regulations, including health & safety.
• Support and develop junior team members.
• Handle post‑event processes, including follow‑ups with clients and internal departments.
• Provide on‑floor event management, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Promote venue services to achieve annual revenue goals.
• Represent the venue at industry events and networking functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering exhibitions or shows within a venue environment.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
