Event Manager – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Livv Workplace is seeking an experienced Event Manager to join a high‑profile client site in the heart of the City. You will own the strategy, planning and delivery of internal, external and virtual events, ensuring exceptional experiences for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of internal, external and virtual events to the highest standards.
• Act as deputy to the Events Manager, providing leadership and support to the wider team.
• Oversee event planning, logistics, stakeholder engagement and operational delivery across multiple venues.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and service partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Own event management platforms, driving best practice, user adoption and continuous improvement.
• Negotiate third‑party contracts, manage budgets and ensure value for money.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing corporate or high‑profile events from concept to delivery.
• Strong leadership with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with event technology platforms, venue operations and supplier relationships.
• Commercial awareness, including budget management and contract oversight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and solutions‑focused with exceptional attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using virtual event platforms.
