Event Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to lead the delivery of our international B2B exhibitions. Based in London with hybrid working, you will own the end‑to‑end operational execution of events across Europe and Asia, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and attendees.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of allocated exhibitions, from concept to on‑site delivery.
• Collaborate with sales to design profitable event packages and control fixed vs variable costs.
• Work with contracted suppliers to enhance the commercial client and attendee experience.
• Create and implement event signage, collateral and other materials.
• Develop staffing plans, arrange travel and accommodation, and allocate tasks for on‑site teams.
• Design floor plans, space allocations and table layouts for each event.
• Oversee risk, security and compliance, ensuring comprehensive risk assessments are completed.
• Lead on‑site briefings, manage vendors and staff, and maintain accountability for budget and ROI.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering exhibitions of varying size and complexity, including international events.
• Strong negotiation and contracting experience with venues and suppliers.
• White‑glove client service mindset and proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce compliance and risk policies.
• Budget management experience and confident decision‑making.
• Experience using table‑planning or floor‑planning software.
