Event Project Director

About the role

Live Recruitment is seeking an Event Project Director to lead the delivery of high‑impact live experiences for a diverse client portfolio. Working hybrid (two days in the office, three days remote), you will shape strategy, oversee execution and nurture senior client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of live events from brief through to execution.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, defining scope, timelines, budgets and delivery strategies.
• Source, negotiate and manage suppliers, ensuring contractual compliance.
• Maintain risk, sustainability and operational standards across all projects.
• Develop trusted senior‑level client relationships and contribute to new business pitches.
• Mentor colleagues and foster a collaborative, innovative team culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale live events or similar projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to think strategically while managing operational details.
