Events Assistant

About the role

Logistics UK is seeking a driven and organised Events Assistant to join its busy events team. You will support the delivery of a diverse programme of conferences, webinars, round‑tables, dinners and awards ceremonies, helping to maintain the organisation’s reputation for high‑quality events.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, production and delivery of events from inception to completion.
• Manage events to ensure they meet timelines, budgets and agreed objectives.
• Prepare comprehensive briefings for staff, speakers and sponsors.
• Create and manage post‑event communications for delegates, sponsors and speakers.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, onboarding new partners where appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Sponsorship Manager and Executive to fulfil sponsorship commitments.
• Travel to site visits and provide on‑site project management support during events.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of event delivery.

Required profile

• Highly organised and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
