Events Manager – Global Law Firm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead a busy programme of seminars and conferences for a renowned global law firm. The role combines strategic event planning with close collaboration across legal, marketing and business development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with lawyers and marketing & business development teams to define clear event objectives.
• Develop a strategic approach to events that aligns with firm priorities, maximising cross‑selling and client engagement.
• Oversee the full event lifecycle, providing guidance, quality control and escalation support to team members.
• Analyse event data, conduct attendance analysis and drive follow‑up campaigns.
• Promote events internally and externally to maximise visibility, attendance and cross‑practice engagement.
• Collaborate with digital, CRM, brand and communications teams to deliver integrated marketing activities linked to events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar marketing/events role within a law firm.
• Previous line‑management experience.
• Strong track record managing in‑person, virtual and hybrid events.
• Experience with CRM and email‑marketing platforms such as InterAction or Vuture.
• Marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) or equivalent experience.
• Flexible and adaptable, able to support events outside standard hours when needed.
