Events Marketing Coordinator – Part‑time

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Events Marketing Coordinator to support the Head of Events and Catering at a prestigious London venue. Working 24 hours per week, primarily Tuesday‑Thursday, you will help drive profitable event business through strategic marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise venue hire across peak and off‑peak periods to increase commercial revenue.
• Develop and execute new business and marketing opportunities within the allocated budget.
• Produce and distribute digital and print marketing materials via venue‑finding websites, mailshots, newsletters and press releases.
• Create and manage pay‑per‑click campaigns, including Google AdWords, to promote the venue.
• Assist the Head of Events and Catering with budgeting and financial reviews.
• Maintain and develop the venue’s CRM system, analysing data to drive sales.
• Organise and attend open evenings, trade shows and other events to showcase the venue.
• Analyse enquiry and turn‑down statistics to refine marketing activities.
• Gather client feedback to improve marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Proven sales and marketing experience, preferably within the events industry.
• Familiarity with venue‑finding platforms, mailshot creation and pay‑per‑click advertising.
• Strong computer literacy and experience using CRM systems.
• High commercial awareness, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication, with a proactive, customer‑focused attitude.
