Examiner – GCE A Level Politics (2017 Specification) – Remote

About the role

Pearson is seeking qualified examiners to mark GCE A Level Politics (2017 specification) scripts. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from home using the ePEN digital marking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Mark candidates' responses accurately according to the pre‑defined mark scheme.
• Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader within designated time‑frames.
• Adhere to marking milestones and ensure all administrative tasks are completed.
• Maintain consistency and uphold overall standards throughout the marking period.

Required profile

• One academic year of teaching experience within the last eight years, preferably in Politics.
• A degree in Politics or a qualified teaching credential.
• At least one year of recent undergraduate‑level teaching experience (within the last three years).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ePEN digital marking software.
