Exams Invigilator – Part‑time (Carshalton)

About the role

Join Reed Further Education as an Exams Invigilator on a part‑time, temporary basis in Carshalton. You will support learners by ensuring examinations are conducted smoothly, safely, and in line with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and observe students throughout the examination period.
• Set up and prepare the examination room before each session.
• Distribute any additional resources or materials required for the exam.
• Ensure the exam is run under proper conditions and all rules are followed.
• Report any issues or irregularities to the exams officer promptly.

Required profile

• Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
• Understanding of how examinations are organised and run.
• Clear and effective communication with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Comfortable with scribing if required.
