Execution Trader

About the role

Join a leading quantitative hedge fund as an Execution Trader, working on the high‑touch execution ecosystem across multiple asset classes. You will collaborate with strategists, traders and technology teams to design and improve execution processes while onboarding new products.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with strategists to understand requirements and onboard new flows into the High‑Touch execution pipeline.
• Collect market intelligence and analyse market microstructures.
• Review transaction costs and recommend trading improvements in coordination with traders and quantitative developers.
• Liaise with dealers and external platforms such as Tradeweb and Bloomberg.
• Promote and enforce best trading practices on the High‑Touch desk.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of experience in a High‑Touch execution role.
• Proficiency in Python and/or KDB.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Familiarity with transaction cost analysis (TCA).
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Git/Jupyter skills are a plus.
• Ability to work closely with trading desks and understand detailed market structures.
