About the role
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high‑quality, proactive administrative and operational support to a fast‑paced Commodities business. You will work directly with senior stakeholders across the Metals and Energy desks in a front‑office environment where priorities shift quickly.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day EA/PA and desk support to approximately five senior stakeholders (Senior Manager to Director level).
- Manage complex diaries, appointments and meeting logistics, including internal and external meetings, workshops, training sessions and conference calls.
- Take accurate meeting minutes, capture key actions and ensure follow‑up.
- Maintain RAID logs, recording risks, actions, issues and dependencies.
- Arrange travel, accommodation and transport, preparing detailed itineraries.
- Process travel, entertainment and other business expenses promptly.
- Support purchase order requests, invoice processing and procurement administration.
- Liaise professionally with internal teams and external contacts on behalf of senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate visitors, office‑based team activities and onboarding arrangements for new joiners.
- Assist with broader team administration such as couriers, supplies, desk moves and ad‑hoc business requirements.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, PA, Desk Assistant or Team Assistant in banking, financial services, professional services or a similarly fast‑paced environment.
- Highly organised, resilient and confident when dealing with senior stakeholders and competing demands.
- Active user of AI tools with a genuine curiosity for how AI can improve administrative efficiency.
Required skills
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in AI‑enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
What we offer
- Daily rate of £285–£300 (Umbrella arrangement).
- 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
- Full‑time, 5‑day‑per‑week onsite role in London.
