Executive Credit Control Officer

About the role

The Executive Credit Control role is responsible for leading daily collections of outstanding invoices owed to the London Stock Exchange Group. The incumbent will ensure compliance with processes, meet KPIs and support the global credit and collections strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review weekly aging reports for overdue debtors.
• Enter all tasks, sub‑tasks and comments into the Oracle system promptly.
• Contact clients via email and telephone to request payment of outstanding invoices.
• Resolve internal and external client disputes and queries.
• Maintain relationships with Finance Operations, Sales and Sales Operations teams.
• Perform reconciliations on unallocated or unidentified payments.
• Provide support to the Group Credit Control Manager and global credit & collections peers.
• Develop short‑term and long‑term strategies to ensure global consistency in achieving LSEG objectives.
• Handle client emails in line with department policy and complete ad‑hoc requests as required.

Required profile

• Finance degree or foundation‑level professional qualification.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar credit control or collections role.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Detail‑focused with a high degree of accuracy.
• Prior experience in a multinational financial services or fintech company is an advantage.
• Planning and prioritising abilities aligned with business needs.
• Familiarity with Oracle systems is desirable.
