Howden is seeking an Executive Director to lead its International Cyber Wholesale practice. This senior position sits at the intersection of broking and technical expertise, driving growth, client service excellence, and high‑value cyber insurance placements across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global cyber wholesale strategy to achieve growth and enhance shareholder value.
• Lead market‑facing teams, overseeing the placement of complex cyber insurance programs internationally.
• Meet agreed business targets and motivate the team to achieve objectives.
• Develop and implement business plans, contribute to tactical strategies, and produce regular management reports.
• Broker complex cyber placements, ensuring positive client experiences and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in cyber insurance broking or a related technical field.
• Strong strategic vision combined with deep technical understanding of cyber risk and insurance solutions.
• Track record of delivering financial performance and building high‑performing teams.
