Executive Director – Liquidity Stress Testing

About the role

This senior position leads the design, implementation and governance of liquidity stress testing for a global financial services group. Reporting at Executive Director level, you will shape the strategic framework and ensure alignment with regulatory expectations and business risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain liquidity stress testing methodologies covering LCR, NSFR, internal stresses and recovery scenarios.
• Oversee model development, validation, performance monitoring, benchmarking and back‑testing across asset classes and legal entities.
• Lead a global team of roughly seven specialists in London, New York and Mumbai, fostering cross‑regional collaboration and consistent methodology.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in liquidity risk management at major financial institutions, including hands‑on stress testing and regulatory frameworks (LCR, NSFR, ILAAP).
• Strong knowledge of Global Markets products, liquidity characteristics and Funds Transfer Pricing.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing, geographically dispersed teams and drive strategic change.
