About the role
Portico is recruiting an Executive Receptionist (Client Support Assistant) to work in the Edinburgh office of a leading international law firm. The role is front‑facing, providing a professional welcome to visitors and supporting the smooth delivery of meetings and events.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a friendly, polished, and professional welcome to all visitors and guests.
- Support the coordination and facilitation of onsite meetings and events.
- Manage meeting‑room bookings and related logistics.
- Respond to daily queries and requests across multiple channels (email, phone, service‑desk app).
- Perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks for the Client Support team.
- Set up and clear down breakfast, book taxis, and place flower orders.
- Handle incoming mail distribution and manage security pass usage.
- Conduct stock‑taking, assist with deliveries and reception mobile calls.
- Oversee contractor management, catering orders and compliance duties when required.

- Engaging, positive personality with strong relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
Required skills
What we offer
- Salary of £20,982 per annum.
- 30 hours per week, core shifts Monday‑Friday 8 am‑2 pm with flexibility to cover full days.
