Exhibition Manager – 1 Year Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

We are looking for an Exhibition Manager on a one-year fixed-term contract to lead the strategic development and commercial performance of a portfolio of exhibitions. Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you will own the event strategy, drive revenue growth and ensure high-quality experiences for attendees and exhibitors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and promote the event’s value proposition and create event value plans for cross-functional teams.
• Conduct market, SWOT and competitor analyses to identify growth opportunities and inform product development.
• Manage full P&L responsibility (up to $5 million), including budgets, forecasts and financial reporting.
• Lead event delivery covering venue management, floor-plan design, partner coordination and registration oversight.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, commercial and operations teams in a matrix environment to achieve strategic targets.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and profit-and-loss performance.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional matrix teams.
• Strong strategic and operational planning capabilities, with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to challenge thinking and support innovation.
