Experienced Asbestos Surveyor – Bristol

About the role

Penguin Recruitment is supporting a well‑established UKAS‑accredited asbestos consultancy in Bristol. The successful candidate will deliver Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys across commercial, industrial, public sector and residential sites, working independently while benefiting from strong operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Management and R&D asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Conduct bulk asbestos sampling on a variety of property types.
• Produce accurate, compliant asbestos survey reports.
• Manage personal diary and workload efficiently.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Maintain records using electronic reporting systems.
• Ensure all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance.

Required profile

• BOHS P402 qualification (essential).
• Previous experience as an Asbestos Surveyor.
• Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Professional, reliable and quality‑focused approach.
