Experienced Conveyancer – Residential Property (Wirral)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our Property department on the Wirral. You will manage a full residential caseload from instruction through to completion while supervising junior staff and upholding the firm’s high compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload in line with firm procedures.
• Progress matters efficiently and keep clients updated on costs and timelines.
• Maintain high standards of client care and professional communication.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all client and firm documentation.
• Achieve agreed billing and time‑recording targets.
• Oversee credit control on your own matters.
• Supervise junior fee earners and support staff, providing mentorship.
• Conduct AML checks, risk assessments and other compliance tasks.
• Ensure all matters meet SRA, CQS and internal regulatory requirements.
• Complete monthly reviews, file audits and compliance actions.

Required profile

• Qualified Conveyancer with strong residential property knowledge.
• Confident in managing a full caseload from start to finish.
• Solid understanding of AML, SRA and CQS compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and high client‑care standards.
• Ability to supervise, mentor and support junior staff.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
