Experienced Customer Services Account Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established manufacturing business in South East England, is seeking an experienced Customer Services Account Manager to join their busy Customer Service/Internal Sales team. The role focuses on B2B account management, ensuring customers receive timely and accurate service throughout the order lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and build strong client relationships.
• Process enquiries, quotations and purchase orders.
• Liaise with planning, production, engineering and sales teams to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Provide regular updates to customers on order progress and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate customer feedback, complaints and returns.
• Use ERP/CRM systems to ensure accurate order processing.
• Support the Customer Services Manager and deputise when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Customer Services Account Manager or in a senior customer service role.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Background in a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, customer‑focused approach with high attention to detail.
