Experienced Electrician – Electrical Maintenance

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team, responsible for planned and responsive electrical maintenance across a range of facilities. The role involves maintaining electrical systems, carrying out repairs and minor works, and supporting project installations while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned and responsive electrical maintenance.
• Maintain and repair general and specialist lighting systems, including controlled environments.
• Conduct RCD testing and other electrical testing.
• Complete minor electrical installations and new works.
• Support project installations and electrical improvement works.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential faults or hazards.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrician with relevant industry experience.
• 18th Edition qualification and 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Previous experience in electrical maintenance and testing, including RCD testing.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Full UK driving licence.
