Experienced Electrician – Portsmouth

About the role

We are seeking an experienced mobile electrician to join our team in Portsmouth, delivering high‑quality electrical repairs, testing and installations while adhering to BS7671 standards and health‑safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake electrical repairs, testing, and installations in line with BS7671 standards.
• Maintain high‑quality service while complying with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Produce accurate data records using PDA/mobile communication systems.
• Complete tasks efficiently, within timescales and with appropriate materials.
• Participate in team briefs, toolbox talks and technical bulletins on a monthly basis.
• Demonstrate a positive, inclusive attitude towards customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (e.g., C&G) and 18th Edition qualification.
• Inspection and Testing qualifications (e.g., C&G + 2395).
• National Electrotechnical Training (NET) AM2 Certificate.
• Ability to work on out‑of‑hours rota and attend call‑outs.
• Social housing experience preferred but not essential.
• Valid full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
