Experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to provide day‑to‑day support across Nursery and Reception classes in primary schools throughout Camden. You will work alongside class teachers to create a positive learning environment and adapt quickly to new school settings.

Key responsibilities

• Support children in Nursery and Reception, assisting whole‑class, small‑group and individual activities.
• Help develop pupils’ communication, social, emotional and academic skills.

Required profile

• Previous EYFS experience as a Teaching Assistant.
• Experience in Nursery and/or Reception settings.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments.
• Reliable, professional approach to day‑to‑day supply work.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
