Experienced Financial Planner – Bishop’s Stortford

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established financial planning firm in Bishop’s Stortford to recruit an experienced Financial Planner. You will provide holistic, whole‑of‑market advice to an existing portfolio of clients, maintaining long‑term relationships while working in a supportive, well‑resourced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
• Collaborate closely with paraplanners and administrators, allowing focus on advice and client care.
• Generate new business through referrals and professional networks, with no heavy cold‑calling culture.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards Chartered status).
• Proven experience as a Financial Planner or Independent Financial Adviser.
• Strong technical knowledge and a client‑centric approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable working in a compliant, advice‑led environment.
