Experienced HGV Class 2 Driver – Hemel Hempstead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join a construction‑materials delivery team in Hemel Hempstead. The role is permanent, full‑time and offers a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in line with company and legal requirements.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries of construction materials.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
• Operate tachograph equipment in accordance with regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Comply with all health and safety procedures.
• Undertake other reasonable duties within the business when required.

Required profile

• Good understanding of transport legislation and safety requirements.
• Reliable, professional and customer‑focused approach.

Required skills

• HGV Category C licence.
• Valid CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• HIAB / ALLMI certification (preferred).
