Experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisor (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

The Birmingham Mortgage Hub of Mortgage Advice Bureau is seeking an experienced Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join its growing team. You will work predominantly remotely while supporting residential purchase and remortgage customers across Bromsgrove, Redditch and surrounding areas, and you will receive a steady flow of leads from six estate‑agency branches.

Key responsibilities

• Provide suitable mortgage and protection advice to new and existing customers.
• Manage residential purchase and remortgage cases from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Build productive relationships with estate‑agency branch teams and convert referred leads.
• Respond promptly to customer referrals and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and meet all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the mortgage journey.
• Identify appropriate protection needs and recommend suitable solutions.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualified or holds an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous experience as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser.
• Strong understanding of the residential mortgage market.
• Ideally experience working alongside estate agents or within an estate‑agency environment.
• Confident building relationships and converting referred leads.
• Ability to manage workload effectively while working remotely.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills.
• Lives within reasonable travelling distance of Bromsgrove and Birmingham.
