Experienced PSV/HGV Mechanic – Full‑time, Shift Work

About the role

We are looking for an experienced PSV/HGV Mechanic to join a professional engineering team in Feltham. You will work in a modern workshop maintaining a varied fleet of passenger and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and road‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and complete related paperwork.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Ensure all work complies with DVSA and VOSA standards.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform effective repairs.
• Support apprentices and junior engineers as required.
• Maintain accurate job cards and maintenance records.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven experience working on PCVs or HGVs in a workshop, fleet or dealership environment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Full UK driving licence (PCV licence preferred but not essential).
• Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime.
