Experienced Service Leader - Supported Living

About the role

We are partnering with a multi-award-winning social-care charity to find an experienced Service Leader for its Supported Living service in Skelmersdale. The role involves leading a team of support workers who provide person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care.
• Plan and oversee daily routines, personal care, community activities and life-skills development for service users.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records and use basic IT systems for reporting.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice for adults supported by the service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a health or social-care leadership role.
• Passion for supporting people to live independently.
• Experience working with individuals who have complex needs.
• Flexible, positive attitude with resilience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or higher) – desirable.

Required skills

• Basic IT proficiency.
