Experienced Welder Fabricator

About the role

Our client in East Cowes is seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy manufacturing team. This position replaces a long‑serving employee who is retiring, offering a chance to hit the ground running in a stable, long‑term environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality MIG and TIG welding to produce components to specification.
• Fabricate parts using equipment such as a guillotine brake press and cut‑off saws.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with engineering drawings.

Required profile

• Proven industrial welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with stainless steel and/or aluminium welding.
• Confidence operating fabrication machinery and reading engineering drawings (advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail, reliable, self‑motivated and able to work as part of a team.
