Export Operations Coordinator – Late Shift (Aerospace)

About the role

We are looking for an Export Operations Coordinator to join our growing aerospace freight forwarding team on the late shift (14:00‑22:30) in Colnbrook. The role focuses on managing time‑critical export shipments by air and road, supporting AOG movements and delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end export shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Coordinate air and road freight movements and ensure accurate documentation.
• Liaise with customers, carriers and overseas partners to meet service expectations.
• Handle AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments with urgency and clear communication.
• Respond promptly to customer emails, operational requests and live shipment updates.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and meet tight operational deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in freight forwarding operations, covering both imports and exports.
• Strong export experience across air and road freight.
• Familiarity with AOG shipments and time‑critical aviation movements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability to prioritise multiple live shipments.
• High attention to detail and confidence working independently during late‑shift hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with freight forwarding systems.
• Good IT skills; customs entry knowledge is advantageous.
