External Sales Manager – Lighting Components (Midlands, South East, London)

About the role

We are seeking an External Sales Manager to represent a growing supplier of lighting components, control solutions and smart lighting technologies. The role covers the Midlands, South East and London, combining remote work with frequent customer visits to manage existing OEM accounts and generate new business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing lighting OEM accounts.
• Develop new business opportunities across the Midlands, South East and London.
• Promote lighting components, control systems and smart lighting solutions to manufacturers and project‑focused customers.
• Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations and formal proposals.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and report progress against targets.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in lighting, electrical components, controls or a related technical sector.
• Established OEM contacts and a track record of managing key accounts.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and self‑motivation.
• Comfortable working remotely and travelling extensively.
• Full UK driving licence.
