Extrusion Operator – £30k Salary, Shift Pattern

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established manufacturing business in Speke to recruit an experienced Extrusion Operator. The role is full‑time, operating on a 3‑day shift pattern in a continuous production environment, offering a stable career with genuine earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and run blown‑film extrusion machinery.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments to meet targets.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor process issues to minimise downtime.
• Complete accurate production documentation.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Coordinate shift handovers with colleagues.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating extrusion machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Good understanding of quality and production standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a continental shift pattern.
