About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a rural primary school in Lancaster. The role supports early years education and offers the chance to work additional hours in breakfast and after‑school clubs.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in delivering daily activities and educational programmes for early years children.
- Support learning through play‑based activities and help plan lesson materials.
- Observe, record and report children’s progress to teachers and parents.
- Maintain a safe, clean and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and optional club duties.
Required profile
- Level 3 early years qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team‑oriented, proactive and enthusiastic about child development.
