EYFS Primary Teacher – Crewe Area

About the role

Academics is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Primary Teacher to join a vibrant community school in Crewe. You will work with a class of 26 pupils, delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum in a safe and friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess EYFS lessons that meet statutory requirements.
• Provide personalised 1:1 support and monitor individual progress.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a nurturing atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues during PPA time to share best practices.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm and genuine passion for working with young children.
• Understanding of how young children learn.
• NVQ Qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience working 1:1 with children, either as a qualified teacher or NQT.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid DBS (support can be provided) and clearance to work through Academics.

Required skills

• DBS clearance.
