EYFS Supply Teacher – Temporary Primary School Role

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Supply Teacher to join our temporary teaching roster across primary schools in Croydon. This role offers the chance to maintain educational continuity for young learners while gaining experience in varied school environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and uphold classroom routines in the regular teacher’s absence.
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, building rapport with pupils and staff.
• Assess and support pupil progress, providing constructive feedback even during short‑term placements.

Required profile

• Qualified with PGCE, QTS, or HLTA Level 4.
• Proven experience working with primary‑school children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to diverse teaching environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and adherence to ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ guidance.
