EYFS Teacher – Full‑time Primary School Position in Islington

About the role

We are seeking a passionate EYFS Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Islington starting in September. The successful candidate will lead a class of 22 early‑years learners, delivering engaging, creative lessons that promote academic, social and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the EYFS curriculum for a mixed‑ability class of 22 pupils.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor each child’s progress, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support pupils with SEN, including ASD and SEMH.
• Maintain effective classroom management and uphold safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – mandatory.
• Previous experience teaching in an EYFS setting.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team‑oriented school culture.

Required skills

• Excellent classroom management techniques.
• Proficiency in designing age‑appropriate, creative learning activities.
• Understanding of SEN provision, particularly ASD and SEMH.
