EYFS Teacher – Full‑Time Primary School Role in Hackney

About the role
We are looking for a creative and committed EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hackney. The school caters for pupils aged 2‑11, is rated “Good” by Ofsted and is located a short walk from the nearest train station. The successful candidate will start in September and will be responsible for a class of 23 early years learners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support children’s early development.
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom where every child feels loved and encouraged.
- Support the academic, social and emotional development of pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide targeted support for individual learners, including those with SEN such as ASD and SEMH.
- Maintain effective classroom management and promote confidence and independence.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience teaching in an EYFS setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to support pupils with special educational needs.
- Passion for early years education and fostering a love of learning.
