EYFS Teacher – Full‑time Temporary Role in Chester

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a busy Reception class in a well‑established primary school in the centre of Chester. The placement runs from 2 September until the October half‑term and is full‑time, providing a focused opportunity to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons for a large Reception class.
• Collaborate with two classroom assistants to support two SEND pupils.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and senior staff.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and staff meetings.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent early years qualification).
• Experience teaching the EYFS or Reception age group.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS (cost reimbursed).
