EYFS Teacher – Primary School (Barnet)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a popular mainstream primary school in Barnet (EN5). The role involves delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to a Reception class, supporting pupils’s development and working within a supportive senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging EYFS lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess, mark and record pupils’ progress, providing feedback to parents at evenings and through reports.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues on whole‑school initiatives and professional development.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of EYFS teaching experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training (within the last year).
• Enhanced DBS check with online update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK and two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
