EYFS Teacher – Reception Class (Southwark)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a supportive, Ofsted‑outstanding SEN primary school in Southwark. You will work with reception‑aged pupils, many of whom have ASD with complex needs, creating a calm, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver personalised, play‑based EYFS lessons.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, teaching assistants and other professionals.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as required.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Lead and support the classroom support team.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience or strong understanding of supporting children with ASD with complex needs.
- Primary school teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Small class sizes with two teaching assistants per class.
- Competitive daily rate of £205‑£270 (paid on the M scale).
