EYFS Teacher – Supply (Day Rate £168‑£250)

About the role
Reed Education is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to provide supply cover across several primary schools in the East Sussex area. This full‑time, temporary role offers the chance to deliver high‑quality early years education while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging EYFS lessons that meet statutory curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, offering personalised feedback and support.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to enhance student outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events as required.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching in an EYFS setting or a similar early years role.
- Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Required skills
- Knowledge of EYFS statutory framework.
- Ability to design and deliver age‑appropriate lesson plans.
- Effective classroom management techniques.
