About the role
We are seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birkenhead. The position runs from September 2026 to July 2027, full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am‑3:30 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Support children within a Reception class and work closely with the class teacher.
- Deliver the EYFS curriculum and tailor interventions to aid pupil development.
- Assist with small‑group and one‑to‑one activities to reinforce learning.
Required profile
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience supporting children in an EYFS setting (desirable).
- Confidence working with small groups and individual pupils.
- Positive, nurturing approach to early years education.
