About the role
We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Bolton to find a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant. This full‑time position starts in September and offers the chance to support young children as they begin their educational journey.
Key responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom.
- Deliver engaging, play‑based activities that promote early literacy and numeracy.
- Assist with phonics, early reading and number work.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional and language development.
- Work closely with the class teacher to create a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Previous experience in an EYFS or nursery setting.
- A nurturing, patient approach to working with young children.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
