EYFS Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Croydon. You will support the care and development of babies and young children, working alongside qualified staff to create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care for babies and young children.
• Support play and learning activities appropriate to developmental stages.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic nursery environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents/carers.
• Follow safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times.
• Participate in team meetings and nursery events as required.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/EYFS.
• Genuine passion for working with babies and young children.
• Reliable, caring, and able to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop early years care skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing situations.
